Beer battered halibut tacos
Comments : 4 Posted in : Recipes, Seafood on by : SpiceGuy
Really simple beer batter. Comes out light, crispy and it tastes like beer.
Ingredients:
1 Cup of pancake mix (the just add water kind)
Cold beer (about 3/4 cup)
I make my own corn tortillas but of course store bought work fine.
Directions:
Put the mix in a large bowl and add beer while stirring until it’s a batter.
Season your fish with your favorite seafood seasoning.
Drop it into a bag of flour and shake like crazy.
Dip the fish into the batter and coat well.
Fry until golden brown.
Make tacos and love life.

Dude! I’m a serious fish taco fan but I’ve never made them at home. Your recipe has me inspired to fry up a winning batch on my own stove. Thanks! 😀
You’re welcome Michael. Let me know how it turns out.
Yay uncle I think I might make this in foods class next week.
You’ll be the star of your class.
